Reminders
Water Bottles

Please don't forget to send a water bottle to school with your child. The bottle filling stations are operational, but all water fountains have been switched off out of an abundance of caution.
Weekly Spirit Days
Mondays are College and Career Days! Wear your favorite college or career readiness shirt! Fridays are Panther Spirit Days. We can't wait to see your purple and gold! 🥳
Peanut-Free Zone
Garner/Malone Homeroom Classes: Both classes are peanut-free. Please save the peanut snacks and lunch items for home. Thank you for helping us keep the classroom safe for all of our friends!
Missing School Supplies
If you have not set in all supplies on the grade level supply list, please send them as soon as possible. Click HERE to see the 4th grade supply list.
We will learn what it means to be a part of a literacy community while focusing on monitoring comprehension strategies. We will also learn the characteristics of active nonfiction writing and review phonics skills.
Social Studies:
We will use geographic tools to read and construct a map, locate regions in Texas. We will also explore the similarities and differences of each geographic region of Texas.
Math:
We will continue our place value unit. We will explore the value of digits from the billions to the hundredths.
Science:
We will explore famous scientists and lab safety before we dive into classifying matter.
